There's no reason to think that 7.62x39 isn't an accurate cartridge. This is apart from one manufacturer's brass product.

It's said that the small Martini action may be stronger than the large one, and I can understand that. I'm no expert with tools and math skills to assess this, but that's what people who are supposed to know, say.

I say that the Martini action, small or large, is a very nice action, both from the aspects of function and from aesthetics. Your pictures bear this out!
