Nah, I have used JB weld and Araldite for quite a few high pressure/recoil use. Once it was the crank case of a mahindra mm540 which had cracked , miles from anywhere... fine job. JB Weld especially, is not your run of the mill stuff. Will hold an air rifle scope mount/rail to receiver. Both areas have to be roughened, cleaned of all oil with acetone and some people prefer to use a butane lighter to heat the parts.Works great without application of heat too.t20 wrote:BOND, GLUE!! You can never trust glue or something similar when there could be a risk of loosing your eyes if the glue fails. Rest your call.

Why dont you get some advice from Brihacharan about using Araldite or JB weld to BED your air rifle stock? it will stop being loose and rattly. And B is quite an air rifle expert.

Instead of Iron or aluminum powder as flocking , try plain talcum or baking soda to thicken up the araldite. works a treat.
