Thanks for the correction Mack The Knife. I have often come across this term and always wonder how does water manage to figure in this.

Marksman, I think it's one of those mistakes that are repeated oft enough and are then accepted to be the norm.

This one for example - H&H .375 Magnum. Holland & Holland named this cartridge the H&H .375 Belted Nitro Express and as far as I know the term 'Magnum' hasn't been used by them.

...storing your firearms....

I have been using the white Castrol grease...for storing guns and its been just working fine...none of the guns have ever got rusted.
