Best Sealent/Adhesive for High pressure PCP valve
Which is the best/easily accessible Sealent/Glue that can be used on the threads of PCP valve connector. I have attached a picture for your reference. When I bought the adapter there was some Adhesive. But since I opened the Adapter and fixed it back, it is leaking some air from the threads.
How do I remove the old Sealent residue?
Will WD40 be sufficient?

Looks like my query did not raise anyones interest or maybe it was sheer stupid question.
In any case i was able to find a solution to it by myself.
All i did was use good old easily available Teflon thread sealing tape used in plumbing work.
it worked like a charm, there was no air leak when I filled my PCP.

Sorry for delay in response. There are two type of items Loctite Red/Blue. Loctite Red is for permanent fixing where as Blue is used regularly for PCP maintenance. I would be happy to know what PCP gun you are working on.
