hello all ifg members,
i wanted to know are primers and boat tail hollow points tips of168 grainsavailable in the market. if available where and what is the price of them.i would like to use them for big bore shooting. i would also like to know what amount of powder charge should should be kept for less recoil and acuuracy should not affect much or bullet should not make a key hole at the target.
please suggest me regarding this matter...........

no primers for 3006 or hollow points, might get some for muzzle loading gun. but as you know you would need to have a license to get primers and powder.

Get a good reloading manual before attempting any sort of reloading AND READ IT from cover to cover! Pretty much all the reloading suppliers also publish their own manuals, I've only read the one from Lyman's and can recommend it. Does anyone manufacture/ import/ retails reloading consumables in India (smokeless powder/ primers/ bullets/ brass etc)? I'm afraid not.

As Nagarifle points out - only black powder and percussion caps (for muzzle loaders) are available in India, which are not quite suitable for what you have in mind.
