Hi guys,
I quite confused whether we can import scopes from the US. Some of the posts here say its illegal while some of them have got it.
I know a guy who gets electronic goods from newegg and amazon to india. Can i get one. I dont have any airgun club membership.
I was thinking of getting Leapers 4x32 Full size mill dot scope. It costs $38.5.

Hi All!
A friend of mine is coming from abroad in a weeks time and I have requested him to get me a rifle scope. After going through related threads in this forum, I understand that it is illegal unless one is member of a shooting club. Since I am only a temporary member of KSRA, I am hoping to find a life member in the forum who could help me out with this.
Any advise/suggestions/help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can you please show me from which post you concluded that bringing scope in one's personal baggage (without club membership) is illegal ?
Club membership is only relevant to .177 airgun import nothing else..

Hi Kanwar76!
felix.ragav in his post under "need advise for selecting a scope for air rifle" under the Air Guns topic section while replying to GSMELVIN said "Hello melvin, I dont think you can import a scope if you are not a member of a local shooting club. (not sure)"
"(not sure)" was the part I was'nt sure of. However I wanted to make sure my friend who is getting the scope for me does not get into trouble.
Sorry if I was wrong.
