Dealers here are charging between Rs. 50 to Rs. 55 per cart. The MRP printed on the box is under Rs. 600, I'm not happy

I take it due to the recession no one is buying any ammo these days?

I was at the NRAI office today, they are selling IOF .32 ammo at something like INR 27 or 28 (plus 12.5% VAT)... I would imagine the dealer rate would/ should be higher only by 5 or 6 rupees tops... What price are they putting on the bill?

Different dealers are putting different amounts on bills; I usually buy them along with imported ammo so they price is around 40 rs a cart.

The dealers here give customers some rubbish story about how they have to deposit money with the IOFB for a year; then they get the ammo. They need to cover their interest costs, etc. This is all so much rubbish. This is robbery. I don't mind paying the amount that is justified but I don't like being lied to.

In Delhi the dealer we pick up ammo from is selling S&W Long for 26 incl tax,.32 ACP is for around 37 that is the list price as per IOF.
Imported ammo $&W Long is 200 & .32 ACP 225 incl taxes.
NRAI sells them for around 18 & 26 plus 12.5 %,subsidised for it's members.

No single dealer is selling below 50 bucks for the S&W long here.
