Too fine for me! Not even a single case of chimneying...that too with OFB, more than 20,000 bucks worth of ammo gone now and It's gone to the hidey hole! Maybe again this winter..

Recoil impulse of iof fmj is pretty decent, seeing that they are primarily loaded for sub gun use.

That is indeed a prototype silencer designed for Self Propelled Artillery Vehicles.

The main purpose was to reduce the disturbance to nearby residents of artillery ranges.

It was designed for Germany (rumored to be by Rheinmetall) and tested, but not adapted for mass production. Could be the cost, effectiveness, practicality or all of the above!
