Gurus, Users,
Any opinions on the DIANA 3-9x40 scope, specs say it airgun rated. On which springers can it be used without damaging it ? What price can one expect to pay for it here ? Is it worth going for ?
Thanks
Manish

Are Diana scopes being made by Diana or are they just branded as Diana?

According to Gunmark, they are made in China and quality controlled by Diana. I can't recall from where I got this, but one of the manufacturers is Simmons.
I have never tried a Diana scope. I have tried a Simmons Pro Hunter 4-12X50 VRC Reticle, and Prohunter 3-10X40mm on Diana Mod-54, with no problems.
As with any other airgun scope on springers, one needs to take a chance and keep fingers crossed.

Yeah but since it's by diana, it should work on Springers.

It is Riflescope designed for all Diana springers upto High power. i.e. it will do very well on Diana 35, 34, 36 panther and derivatives. For Magnum Rifles like 350 mag, 450 mag, model 52, 54 which are over 1000 fps, a Diana Magnum scope is on offer in the range. Check their website complete details and model numbers should be there.
Gamo and BSA also make Air Rifle scopes, so do Bushnell annd Nikko Sterling.
The smaller Diana scopes 4 x 20 mm with the half inch tube is suitable only for cadet model air rifles or a cheap entry level .22 LR.
