Indians For Guns

I would request Delhi / Bombay IFG members who frequent the local gun shops to please find out as to whether any 16 Bore cartridges, IOF or imported are available there.

If yes then shot size and price.

There is a very good Westley Richards 16 bore gun that has come up for sale in Aligarh, UP. If I can get a supply of some 16 Bore cartridges I would like to acquire this gun.

IOF made 16 gauge cartridges were being sold by NRAI to it's members just a few years back, AFAIK their stock is over now.

A 16 gauge should be priced quite reasonably... will post here if I come across anyone selling 16 gauge ammo.

No not with Harris, it belongs to a private owner who wants to get rid of it because in small towns of India now it is getting increasingly difficult to procure 16 bore cartridges.

By the way what about Lucknow ? Is 16 bore ammo available there ?

They are available ,last year i took 2 boxes (Imported)but few of them misfired,may be because of old stock ,i donn know if the fresh Lot is arrived.

Shaktiman makes 16 Bore shot cartridges ? Interesting, must try them out for quality although my experience with Shaktiman is as very unreliable and high rate of misfire due to poor quality primers.

Shaktiman do make a mumber of slugs. Mostly with stablizer fins, HP slugs or Diablo shaped slugs.

I have not seen a soft nose bullet type that can be used in a 16 Bore Paradox .

i have a 16 bore shotgun, and yes shaktiman does make 16 bore cartridges, i have fired them, however regular supply seems to be a issue, also they seem to come only in Number 1 pellets or single ball/slugs. price about a year ago was RS 70 a pop.

Need fresh 20 bore cartridges...................where can I get it in Bangalore..........and does shaktiman make 20 bore cartridges
