hi,
i used to own a winchester model 95 lever action 32-40 rifle. i was able to get my dealer in jaipur get me 50 rounds of OWS ammunition, but it cost Rs 250 a pop, so i sold the rifle later on.
but ows still make 32-40 ammunition and 32-40 rifles are very good fun to shoot, except that the ammo cost too much, of course the rifles usually go for a song

Rajat: That would have been a Winchester Model 94, not an M95. That's a larger action with box, not tubular, magazine. Cheers.

Shahid: 170 grain bullet, MV 1330 fps, or thereabout. No factory loads it anymore, though Winchester did make a (commemorative) run a few years ago. Easily made from .32 Winchester Special. Found in lever actions, typically the Winchester M94, and older single-shots. W-R made some lovely ones on a medium Martini action. Cheers.

yes, my mistake, it was a model 94 with a 3 +1 tubular magazine.
