Please can someone tell me which brand should be the best range finder for long-range.This question is because the Indian market is mainly dominated by Chinese imported shooting accessories.

But most of the products are of substandard quality and give wrong results which ruins the confidence of a shooter.

What is long range for you?
The Swiss 'Wild' optical range finder is Milspec, 37" long and about 4" in diameter.Ranges out to 20000m.Needs to be used with a tripod and a lath board.
or, Try the Geovid range.Models 1200,1600 etc

Yup. It can range out to 20000 m
Local bloke brought it to an F class shoot to show us. He pointed it at the sun with a dark shade to ‘zero’ it.

I use a Sig Sauer. Laser. Ranges out to 800m. Size of a binoc.

Sir, at this time I use my own method to find the range according to my need. And it's almost perfect every time.

But it is very important to have all the information.

All depends on what your shooting range is. Unless you are a military or para military sniper shooting at ranges close to 1000 + yards any cheap rangefinder would do. Bushnell or Tasco ( both made in China) or Sig are as good as any. If you want to go a step up into the special class then Stiener, Schmidt and Bender, Zeiss, Lieca or are the best. Most are made specially for Defence forces and cost 10 -15 times as much.
BTW Visual range estimation beyond 400yds is always a dicey thing.
If you have a top class high power Zeiss or similar riflescope then the mil dots and the parallax ring can provide a fairly accurate estimation till abt 800 yards.
