Well Sourojit babu , except for the foot wear ( I think , if the Government hasn't classified them as PB that is "Prohibited Boot " ) , if you can legally acquire the products you have listed , then you would be the "Hero for Life " for many members in here including me . In other words , as a civilian you , legally you cannot . Sad I know .

The only Weapons , Ammunition which OFB makes for civilians are Here

Other than the Pistol Auto 9mm A1, which is a PB, most of the accessories and optics freely available on ebay are 100% better than those offered by IOF so why do you want to buy from them anyway?

Varunik,
Does this shop at sadar bazar sell OFB made telescopes and red dot sights too? As far as my knowledge goes these are supplied only to the armed forces and when damaged etc. are destroyed at the depots. Can you please post the address of this shop ?

Thanks

TC

Thanks everybody!
To 'FN-Five-Seven' : One of the Red-Dot (http://ofbindia.gov.in/products/data/optical/add_41.htm) in the OFB site was labelled
"APPLICATION :
Red Dot Sight is designed for installation on weapons (for small arms such as INSAS 5.56 mm Rifles, 40mm MGL & LMG.). Sight is developed for Civilian, Military & Law enforcement Applications . The sight is designed with “Both eyes open” method of sighting ".
And all the parachutes made by ofb are also for civilians including the cable(co-axial,optical fibre, etc.) and the two binoculars.Only I don't know where and how to get them.

Moreover,if OFB won't allow us to purchase all those products from them , then how come better products are available on ebay(which are probably second-hand) and the Government allows to ship them into our country?? :-)

Sourojit Babu , You are getting confused between the term "Civilian Application " and " Civilian " .

First of all ,what OFB means by "Civilian Applications " is that the sights are developed to be issued to Armed Personnel deployed in the Civilian sector / Zone .
For example the Armed Personnel of the West Bengal Armed Police Forces compromising of Eastern Frontier Rifles & Kolkata Armed Police .
Civilians cannot legally acquire these equipments of OFB , well as least as of date .

Secondly , I am curious as to why you want to procure these equipments of OFB ?
I hope you are not in the process of recreating any of the missions you might have played in " Call Of Duty " or similar FPS games in real life . Seriously a bad idea .

And finally , if you have an Air Rifle or a .22LR rifle or a .315 Sporting Rifle or a 30-06 Sporting Rifle , you do have a choice of a huge number of sights & scopes . You can get ideas / information / guidance from the members of this very forum or have your nearest Gun Dealer help you out with it .

I sure do hope not that you are planning to jump out of a flying aeroplane or a helicopter with a parachute strapped on to your back . I take the liberty to suggest that you should reconsider and take up some other hobbies to keep yourself entertained / engaged . :D

You are again getting confused between the Government of India & OFB .

Government of India being the supreme authority of the land within the borders of India , has the power to decide , amongst many things , what items should and should not be allowed to be imported into India . OFB is merely an manufacturing unit owned by the Government of India .
Moreover , the sights suggested by the other members are those which you can fit on top of your Air Rifle or .22LR Rifle or .315 Rifle or 30-06 Rifle . They did not suggest that you can buy some military grade targeting system off the net and have E-bay or any other website shipped to your door step .
Government of India , as of date , has not allowed the legal possession of military grade targeting system to civilians .

Varunik,
I don't think any so called army surplus store in India sells products made by OFB. And certainly not anything relating to weapons etc. These are basically shops run by businessmen and sell products that are manufactured by private entrepreneurs primarily for the army, navy, paramilitary, police and even NCC after bidding of tenders, sarkari style. And, these products are primarily part of the uniform, for example the boots you are referring to, belts, berets, caps, parka, lanyard, holsters, badges etc. The most lethal weapon one can buy from there are lathis, batons and scout knives. One cannot even find a bayonet in any of these shops.

Cheers
