Shooting Blinds and Glasses

Hi All!

I was at the range shooting when a senior shooter observed me and adviced me to use a blind for my left eye. For a quick fix, he put a rubber-band around my fore head with a piece of cardboard covering my left eye.

With the use of this, I realised I could see the shot placements on the target sheet without the help of the spotting scope. He himself uses Shooting Glasses with left eye blind like the one Abhinav Bhindra uses.

I was wondering where I could purchase one of those with foldable blinds which would help me use the spotting scope easily without having to remove the eye wear itself to use the scope.

I tried Olympic Sports on Double Road and they don't have a clue of what I was talking about. Gun Gurus! Help PLEASE!!

Have you tried http://www.pilkguns.com/masprlist.htm#varga ? The target shooters here should be able to help you choose the correct size/ diopter for your chosen sport.

Cheers!

Do you shoot pistol or rifle? Rifles frames come with a 23 mm lens holder, pistol with 37 mm lens holder.
If you do not need shooting frames and lens holder, have a look at champion elastic headband.
I have seen good shooters use home made eye blinds which swivel out of the way when they make contact with the eyepiece of spotting scope while looking at the target.
