Mates I have few questions for you all ...
- first can we find .32 NAA ammo in india , I think it would not be a problem since it is a N.P.B ?
- then can it be used in a handgun chambered for .32 acp ammo ?
- and lastly will it effect the handgun chambered for .32 acp ammo since .32 NAA is a high power ammo and lastly can it be used in IOF .32 pistol

Hi brijendra,
first-No we cannot find .32 NAA ammo in India that I know of. It would be an NP bore but then, so are most other calibers, but you don't find them in India with ease.
second- The answer to this will depend on a few things but first a little background. IIRC The .32 NAA cartridge is basically a .380 ACP necked down to take a .32 bullet. The pressure and velocity being higher. Normally any .380 ACP caliber pistol can be converted to a .32 NAA caliber easily by just a barrel change(if barrels are easily available that is). The breechface dimensions, the magazine and the extractor will all work without any problems since the base dimensions are the same as a .380ACP.
Now there are several models of handguns made by different manufacturers, such as Walther PPK, CZ 83, Llama etc that are available either in .380 ACP or .32 ACP. Basically, these tend to be blow back pistols, with most parts interchangeable except for barrel, magazine extractor and perhaps the slide because of different breech face dimensions.
So the answer is no, if the base pistol is of .32ACP caliber.
and lastly- It would not be practical to convert an IOF pistol to .32NAA caliber because its a .32 ACP pistol. As you mentioned the power is higher and probably unsafe to do as well.
I hope that helps,
Regards,
Anand

i think in handguns the main part should be to get the target;and dont worry about the power
