A very SHOCKING News

" There is absolute dearth of 32 Cal KF Revolver ammo in Mumbai & Pune ". My brother wanted to buy these today but it came as a shock to him that these are out of stock with gun dealers in Mumbai & Pune. The dealers said that they might get some by 1-2 months. They pointed out that the Khadki Ammunution factory which produces these is closed for over a year and thats why such situation has arised.
However imported ammo is available @ Rs. 300 - Rs. 350 per pop, its risky or not recommended for use in IOF Revolver.

How will the aam admi protect his life?

What a shame on our system?

Almost impossible to get handgun licence and now impossible to get ammo for that

Would appreciate if our mumbai/pune folks can substantiate this?
When did imported ammo become risky or not recommended for IOF 32? Not a case of " if they cant get bread, let them eat cake" but I'd like to know...

What's the definition of aam admi in your terms?

IOF doesnot recommend use of ammo other than KF in their revolver. The revolver intended for use is brand new and is in warranty period. Therefore we wanted to refrain from using firangi ammo.

r_r,from onions to IOF 32 ammo,everthing is out of stock,and you have to pay premium on the imported version,onions are also imported,Kahdki factory is closed and ordi has cut prodution from the rest of the factories,so as jefe has written please eat the cake,as bread wont be in stock,the French Revolution was based on this,maybe we also have a revolution in our country and the AAM ADMI finally has a spine and the guts to stand up.

My definition of aam admi may not suit you...or vice versa.
I may offer the example of the man on the road, who cant afford the Rs 90 onion or 100 rupee dal.Not Raaja or Kalamadi
aam admi cannot be the owner of a KF revolver, (or an arms licence holder!) human rights dont exist here, some folks in the NE India have an ammo allowance of 5, yup FIVE rounds a YEAR-also AAM ADMI-by their reckoning.
But do tell more about the caveat about not using imported ammo in a KF mark3.
This is a new one.Is the metallurgy on a planned obsolescence mode?

Have anyone here ever used 32 Cal Imported ammo in IOF revolver. If yes please share your experience.

Hi ruger,used a lot of S & Bs in a friends IOF revolver,the results were ok,nothing to write home about,when the timing of the cyl is screwed up.you might use Gold plated ammo in it
