The usual limit is 2000 pellets per passenger, but it is quite dependant on the customs guy in charge.... BTW I must say it's mighty decent of you to make such an offer to one and all :)

Cheers!

Of course, as someone said, it all depends on the individual customs guy. What a lovely gesture though. Thanks!

By Heck! I know some of my 'wanteds' through PM's etc. were nigh impossible but this post is beginning to look like a case of "When something seems too good to be true, it usually is!" Nevertheless, It shore looked good while it lasted!

Ohkay people I have really bad news and a bit of good news. Bad news is that Mr. Martin (head of deptt. Engineering and a complete ****head) wants me to sit for two exams on the 9th n 10th of April due to which I cannot come to India. Good news is that I have found most of the stuff that you people want but havent bought it yet(thank god). I will be coming in mid-Aug and can bring the stuff den. I apologise for doing this.
Regards,
R.Dhillon.

Your gesture is truly unique......I respect that.

But just out of curiosity, even if you plan to come with the wish list of so many excited members, Wouldn't you get in to a lot of trouble with the customs here when you arrive???

I sincerely hope that you will have a safe journey when you come in August and will have no problems at the airport... :D  :D

Or at least, truly generous. We're in no position to judge the witness's state of mind.

Perhaps this delay is a blessing in disguise. It gives us chance to rehearse the various 'complications' which may well arise, as our friend presents himself at the customs desk. Will they determine that he must be some kind of dealer? Will they assume he is up to some variety of 'no good'? How will he respond? What are the best answers? Is there a limit on how much fun a person can legally have in India?

We should get our candidate ready. He'll need to press hands and kiss babies all through the via-dolorosa of his re-entry to India. Let's make sure he's fireproof!

Good thinking Mr.Sol. I will only be getting 2000 pellets. Is there any limit to the number of rifle scopes or boresighters or mounts and rings etc that I can carry? Planned to buy an air rifle for myself also.
Regards,
R.Dhillon.
