That you were able to bring scopes in your baggage does not change the law or prove that the information provided on this forum is inaccurate. Rifle scopes are restricted items.Not prohibited. Period.

Try getting a scope in via courier..
Or with it attached to an air rifle/ rifle.
Getting a scope in your hand baggage is allowed.
Simple as that.
