Hi Nagarifle,

Have u come across a 243 rifle for sale. In case you have I would be interested in buying it particularly if it is Winchester Model 70 or Model 88 Lever action.

no i have not yet came across one. but looking at having one. thus the question about 243s ammo.

but since from the post, as my understanding is that 243s is not allowed. is that so?

as u would understand whats the point on having a firearm if ammo is not there. its like having a Rolls Royce and no petrol. Good to look at but usless.

any good advice on 243 will be most welcome.

.243 is a very popular all round hunting calibre here in aussie land too, along with .222,.223 or .204 ruger.
