Folding knife blade length?

I plan to EDC a Spyderco Endura, which has a blade length more than 3 3/4 inches. Wanted to check if this length is a "legal" carry. Mostly it will be in my jeans pocket, day in and out. Some other thread here indicated that 9" is, but not sure if it differs for folders.

9" is a limit for import
as some one said here 3 1/5 limit for carry in city limits, but I assume it is for fixed blades.

There is no such limit/All India restriction. Please stop misinforming people.
I would be more than happy if you can prove me wrong.
I would also like to point out that different states have issued their own notifications on the blade length of a knife that would require a license to carry. Please check what the local law says. The 9" limit is not uniform through out the country. In some states,it is even less. This does not apply to knives/sharp edged weapons meant for domestic or agricultural use, a sikh's sword or a Gurkha's Khukhri.

Okay, thanks. That helps. I can then indicate that my folder is used for peeling/cutting oranges, and onion and tomatoes - this way it will be "domestic" use.
