a very good point made here...indian manufacturers ..well i know the look does matter..but still..atleast we indians if are keeping a budget of 50$ i suggest you opt for indian manufacturers.

It's not the looks that matter. It's the product, the finishing that matters. The steel that is used is what matters. I am not at all against promoting Indian manufactures, rather it's high time we did it, provided they deliver. Any good knife collector would go for the RC stuff compared to the Indian stuff purely on the points that I've mentioned earlier. Even the sikligar dude you've mentioned in your other post, he is just an exporter. Look at the blades, they all definitely have the looks, but no mention on the steel used. These guys say they manufacture Damascus steel, but good Damascus steel would cost you more $250 and above and that just the blade I'm talking about. So that's that.
