Before buying crossbow, also search other websites, AFAIK there are crossbows with higher draw weights and higher velocities i.e more powerful crossbows, with longer range. Just search on google.com with search terms like "most powerful crossbow" etc.

apologies in advance for OTT

sudesh, pardon my curiosity, but the hindi lines in your signature....are they part of a poem/sher or a well known quote from a mahapurush (they don't exactly rhyme.)

Ha ha Hamiclar,

Don't know about the poem/sher written by a Mahapurush but we have something similar in Punjabi and that actually rhymes

Load kar ke rifle jadon bullet te savar hunde,
Banke pagg jadon gabru tayar hunde,
Loki vekhde chadke chabare taan kehnde,
Haaye kaash asi vee Sardar hunde..

Anand, If you find name of the writer please inform us also

no it doesn't .

compared to inder's perfectly rhyming couplet..(savar hunde, tayar hunde.....sardar hunde),
you have savar hotey, tayaar hotey, jaat hotey

the second last line is aur kehtey, which still does not rhyme with -ar hotey

of course ,it could have been written in swacchand chhand....of the upendranath ashkh and agyeya variety.

i am travelling to India in August. DO you gentlemen have a suggestion on a crossbow that i can carry with me?
I looked around online, though your prior experiences and suggestions will probably be more helpful.

thanks
