I am just 19 year old and a college student. Naturally, I don't own a lot of money to splash around buying expensive knives.
So, i am unsure whether knife collecting is a passion which requires a lot of money. I want to know how to start off with my hobby,
with a small budget. Most, of the articles I have read on knife collection, advices collectors to start off with a specialised area so as to not loose focus.
I want to start of my collection with Fixed Blade knives, because the were always the most appealing to me.
I currently ordered my first
proper knife, the
mora classic 2 http://www.moraofsweden.se/construction/classic-2
Any suggestion on my next purchase within a price range of 2-4k would also be appreciated.

Hi Avik,
The mora knives are a perfect place to start with. The mora companion is a good option. You could also look at the schrade and ontario old hickory knives.

Hi kshitij bhaiya,
Was looking for schrade and boker brands in knifecenter.com
Completely confused about the purchase process, the website say they ship to India, but I am unable to access the option when i check out after purchasing.

Very easy. Just use the international checkout option when ordering.
Be warned: shipping and customs can set you back by almost the cost of the knife. So please don't order one knife at a time!

Avik,
Register-choose-click purchase-select cash on delivery-wait for about ten days for it to arrive.
Cart2india prices are inclusive of customs and shipping. So basically if you have purchased, be ready to pay the mentioned anount and no more when they come for delivery.
Stuff they cant ship they will call and tell you they regret the order. This has never happened to me for knives, just when i tried mh luck with scopes etc.

Hey bro.......avik
Knife collection needs money but not too much if u are want to own selective blades but it also needs patience. As you have to think about next blade meanwhile you have to take care of your earlier blades. So don't worry as i am also doing the same.........
