That's an awesome DIY knife. .
I love the shape of blade and the wooden handles. .
It would be very helpful to novices like me if you can share some pix of work in progress too

Great work Bro! If I may suggest, keep the "555" marking. Looks good. And you can point out the origins of the knife if ever asked about the marking.

Awesome work bro
Like the profile & contours....appears well balanced too
Some checkering on the handle may make it look 'macho' also functional...grip wise....
Now get a nice sheath made to give it a grand finale'

Thanks Briha sir, Rahulkumar,AnandNair, esdee72 and Moin.! A leather sheath would sure look classy. On a lookout for a suitable piece of hide to start working.
@AnandNair: thanks for posting the vids. Quite informative!
@esdee72: I agree, will let the stamp be as is. Can't take out a lot of metal from the area without risking blade strength and structure.
Cheers

Thanks for appreciating the effort kalashnikovcult.
However, I pursue this as a hobby strictly devoid of any commercial motivations.
IMHO a collection has to be a bit more than just web catalog orders and price tags.!
