I want to know your views about schrade schf9. I loves this knife and recently ordered it through cart2india. Now waiting for the knife. So i wanna know your experiences and views on this knife. Does anyone own this knife, please share your experiences with it.

I have the 9n version of the knife. A real good knife with good heft solid feel. Razor sharp out of the box. The difference between the 9 and 9n being the later is 8Cr13MoV (no rusting) High Carbon Stainless Steel with hollow grind and the schf9 has 1095 High Carbon Steel with straight grind. the 9 version may rust, but the tough teflon type coating on the blade lasts long so should not be much of worry. I have not used it so cannot comment more.

Thanks anand sir for your valuable suggestions. I m a great fan of 1095 and saber grind so i ordered schf9. It will not rust because unluckily we are in india, we will rarely get a chance to use it..... . Sir i will take care of the knife by oiling it time to time.
