two completely different blades

Disclosing to all the learned members..
Two of my family heirlooms, completely different blades, one handmade and another factory made but both are perfectly well balanced.
Top one, which is still bit shiny is a factory made, fullered and very lightweight sword. Razorsharp, have managed to cut the wing of my ceiling fan while trying to play around in the house with it. Recently have got it a a new scabbard.
Below one is handmade blade, quite heavy and the ceremonial sword of my family, still retaining the original scabbard. I am guessing it to be no older than atleast two generations of my family before me :), trying to preserve it as my legacy..

Very nice! It is always good to have a sense of history with family.
