folders they are, the two on the top are the pre 1988 ones that were made in Germany, and the two at the bottom are made in South Africa now:

Below, all of them opened up, the one at the top in the famous lock blade, i heard this design (with the ring) is also called the 'kudu' knife.

History:

Originally made in Germany for their colonies in Africa in the early 1900's in Solingen, the folding knife was named after these hybrid asses:
