Hey!
I tried uploading the images but had problems uploading them.
So posting an external link (Flickr) That would give you a glimpse of few of my highly priced possessions!

Hope you guys like them!
Thanks
Karan

Acquired all of them.
None under inheritance!
Took a lot of hardwork and capital to move around and select and double check.
I ran into people who would make exact copies of the antique weapon, including gold or silver work and would make the buyer feel as if its a 18th Century weapon.
Experience counted in this journey :)

Regards
Karan

The Sword with Gold Koftagiri (Kai Turla Handwork)
When I first saw the sword the seller told me it never will be for sale.I returned back home but always had it in my mind that someday it will be mine.
So one day he called me and asked if I was interested in buying the sword.
In the next 3 hours the sword was in my collection :)

I left all work, was supposed to play a vip party.
Sent my friend and assistant to manage the situation for sometime and I took a detour to meet the brothers! Well sometimes its good to take a detour from your everyday path!Still remember the day.

Next:
The South Indian Temple sword.
I met this dealer who had lot of stuff but nothing I liked which in his eyes was the best! He tried fooling me too by showing me Swamp Deer handle Peshkabz and tellingme that it was Ivory :) I agreed but dint buy it.Gave him a simple excuse of less money.
In the whole pile I found this temple sword and asked him whats the price of this Spear you have (gave him a dose of his own medicine)
He said jo dena hai de do (Just give me whatever you want to)
Well I got a diamond for the price of a stone!

The Saif and The Jamdarh I bought them together from a friend in Nanded.
During my travels the handle of the sword (saif) locally known as Fefade da Mutha (Lung Handle like a rapier guard handle) in Punjabi was too much in discussions as well as demand.
So I made up my mind to have one at any cost! Luck favoured and in a few days I acquired the Saif with the handle. The same guy had this curved sword also known as Soussan.
I liked the hilt of this sword too so dint think twice before picking it up too!
