This is my first attempt to make a knife out of some metal clamps (actually it was on the box where we keep unused hardware materials) and i dont know whether it is good/bad for knife making, i just want to learn shaping a knife, and i am satisfied with the outcome.the handle is made of teak wood,i didnt polished the handle, will do it later.

A very good attempt najad :D
A bit of finishing on the blade & polishing the handle would indeed be welcome.
Now that you have learned the basics - Keep improving...
Let's see more of these :D

That's a lovely knife. I have little understanding of knife making, but from usability point of view, it seems very capable.

Thanks, the knife seems good but not , the metal used is mild steel (not sure) and sharpness dont lasts .the knife is now sanded and handle is varnished(pics attached),i made another knife out of jeep spring steel, and heat treated, its very sharp and it remains even after cutting a wooden road :D ,i think spring steel is best on locally available metals for knife making.
