IXL Barlow pattern pocketknife

I bought an old pocketknife back in the 70's and I carried it for a while.

At some point in the past it disappeared and I thought it was gone but I re-discovered it a little while ago and thought you might find it interesting.

I went looking around and found this this copy of an 1899 catalog, it is the Model 8019:

Nice pocket knife Mark...The catalogue is quite interesting...If I am not wrong the price seems to be mentioned for a dozen pieces :shock: ...Good 'ol days :D Thanks for sharing :cheers:

The George Wolstenholm I*XL knives are still available and still made in Sheffield.

Yes, they are now owned by the "Eggington Group". I have sent them an inquiry to see if they can tell me the years that the model 8019 was made, I'll post it here if they reply.
