Tactical Knives/ Boot Knives in Mumbai
Does anybody know where i could buy a tactical knife or a small boot knife (overall length less than 7" inches) in Mumbai
I cant order online from websites based in the US because shipping is too expensive .
Any Indian based websites will be good or even a retail outlet where i can buy these knives
Thanks

I have tried oliveplanet and most of their knives are out of stock.
I have never thought that local markets would have knives, do they really sell knives too?

You would only get crappy Muelas and Nieto's in the local market at Saleh Arms. Not worth the money. better off buying from KnifeCEntre, will work out cheaper than what you get in the local market anyways !!!!

Nope not at all, it is still the steel which excites.. But have made some very good friends with the Lead Shooters. I'm avoiding it, the sharp hobby is denting my wallet to a considerable degree as it is. Don't want to pile on another one lollzzwingsoffires66 wrote:@gunguy

Someone (namely Knifejunkie) mentioned that the Balisongs are illegal, and elsewhere here I also read that switchblades are illegal?
Would you, or anybody, please clarify?

Thanks for the Bansons lead, but I already got someone to pick up some balisongs from a shop in Heera Panna.
Any idea about the prohibition on balisong in India?

Gunguy,
I don't think anybody has so far thought of banning Balisongs in India because in technical terms it comes under the folding knife category.
The banned blades are guptis and sword canes.
Anyways, since you are based in Mumbai try outdoortravelgear.com
They have an excellent collection of Gerber knives and based at Wadala I think.
And, let me join Moin in welcoming you to the sharp section of IFG
