after spending a looooooooong time trying to find suitable silk braiding, i decided to use the humble shoe lace as a substitute and had a go at cord wrapping the tanto that i had made earlier. not too good, but it was more of an attempt to see if the lace was long enough.

Looking very nice, what did you do with the two loose ends. Tied and cut, how do you prevent the knots from opening up. i used a few drops of instant glue like fevi quick, but then the shoe lace is white will stain.

You will find silk cord at any good curtain and furnishing store. They use it to tie curtains. The knife is looking super anyways.
