Once upon a time there was a guy [ME] who liked knives so he after a year of desiring he decided to buy the best type of knife considered best for combat == DAGGER so he researched and found one that was in use with the best in business SAS the Black hawk uk-sfk but as he decided to buy it and wanted to know the process he again researched and found his oracle [indiansforguns] so he consulted the oracle and found that it is extremely difficult to buy a knife out from the country and expensive too.

So the knife which once was in his budget went out of it and he decided to look for a replacement and he then found another one that was also used by the best in business [covertly] but is never acknowledged the special operations group SOG knives, so again consulting his oracle and MOIN he started to search for a nice an reasonable seller ,ENTER knifecenter.com so he calculated all the charges and accumulated the wealth required to buy the SOG fusion fixation dagger + ka-bar zombie killer Acheron neck knife for his bro (b’day gift) he amount required was 89 us dollars or 5110 rupees the amount they charged.

But then again he faced a terrible problem as his king {govt.} had imposed several restrictions only leaving the credit card as a viable option to buy the merchandise so he again consulted the oracle but the oracle was late to reply so he got one of his assets to pay for it.

On the 18th of July the magical being owned and known as FedEx took the delivery and on the black day of 22nd of July it was at the kingdoms capital {New Delhi, IGI airport NCT} there the king’s guardsmen (customs department) held the package and STARTED demanding documents :( .

The man anxiously after waiting for three days had to himself call the Guardsmen merchant (customs clearing department of FedEx) on the 25th who told him that they needed a authority letter, a noncommercial use document and an end use of shipment document from him, HE posted on the oracle the following thread http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic ... 20&t=17997 and as always was helped by Oracle {esp. Rajat and nagarifle, choombak last but not in any kind the least vivekpeter as i had also posted in the legal eagle section he even said that he will provide any document necessary that he had left from his purchase problem of the SOG jungle primitive} .

He (ME) sent not only the documents asked but also an extract copy of the arms rule 1962 to them the next day (FedEx) but in the evening they demanded an arms license, so he again consulted the ORACLE, and on the 27th of july as suggested by Rajat a member of ORACLE, he demanded the challan from them which they gave on the 30th even though it was clearly written on the document to submit the NOC from licensing authority by guards men (customs) on the 24th of July itself.

Then he went to the dc office (there was a guy working as the collector u know guys outside the office who write stuff he was extremely helpful in guiding me) where he first tried to reason with the ADC who kept asking stupid questions like what do u need it for even after telling him it was for collection purposes, but after failing in having convinced him or the DC himself for 6 days, AFTER all was lost he decided to use his connections with the minister, a MLC ,a DIG and the MLA, when these connections of him called the DC and told him to issue the NOC a miracle happened and the next day he got his NOC handed over to him by the DC himself along with an offer to share a cup of tea with him (ironic).

HE (ME)then sent these documents to the FEDEX on the 13th of august and on the 14th of august and was told on that the guardsmen (customs) have demanded an undertaking on a rs 50 stamp paper stating no use for criminal purpose, but the packaged had already been cleared and was delivered on the 16th of august along with rs 2350 as payment for duty etc.

AND the battle was won but the war against the system is still waging as RTI have been filed with the home department for obtaining the notifications relevant.

Will post the pictures when my asset will deliver the knives to me as u all know the knife center shipping policy.

Note. The products have been delivered to New Delhi can they be couriered someplace else in India without any problem.

I read your title and thought "That's a clever way to import a knife, have the owls deliver them!"

Congrats!!

Moral of the story? Get a the Ministry of Magic (i.e. MP, MLA, DIG, etc.) on your side, else never think of importing horcruxes (sorry, knives). Voldemort and his Death Eaters are too powerful!!!
