Hello Folks,
From very few months i wanted a good looking very sturdy and "edc" able knife for myself. After making research on various types of knives, blades, handles and all such jargons of knives and having the best of suggestions from our IFG brothers i finalized to go for a Zero Tolerance 0400st. Read about the knife on various blade forums and finally convinced this is what i should go for.
Went ahead to order from Knifecenter using my friend's credit card as i didnt have at that time. I and my friend finalized on ordering a ZT 0400 st, Zippo lighter for myself, and a S&W oasis black knife and a keychain knife for my friend. We faced some problems placing the order through credit card which was discussed here http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=17502 . Finally my friend made a wire transfer to Knifecenter and bingo!! the order was dispatched on 12th from US.
The products came in smooth way without any hassle. The delivery was done before time as the scheduled delivery date was on 19th July the products reached my friend on 18th at 4.00pm. Fedex is reliable and the best.
here are some pictures of my knife. Sorry for the picture quality as i dont have any camera. Took it from a 5 mp. camera of my mobile and edited the brightness and contrast as it was taken under low light conditions.
The name of the model, and other specification of the knife.

The s30V blade in whole. Measures 3 3/4th inches.

The handle material is good enuf to give a good grip. The ergonomics also feels fair.

The good quality and sturdy pocket clip. Ensures that the knife dosnt move anybit once its attached to the pocket.

Fits well into my hand. Loved the feel too. Built like a tank feel. Fairly heavy and bigger than what i had imagined.

Dont know the name of this part. But this is the one which should be pressed down to fold the knife and close it.

being an assisted opening knife its very convenient to open the knife. You wont feel the need of an Automatic knife if you have such assisted knife. Very fast and can fold it with one hand if you get the knack of doing it. Just takes a bit of practice. I oiled the joints on the first day to ensure smooth play between the joints.
I am happy on getting this knife. I am currently edcing this knife but i am not sure of whether will i do it for more days. The knife, when opened, pops eyes out nearby and thus i am a bit on the negative side on opening it in public anywhere. Only displayed it amongst group of friends or in closed conditions. I am sure the Cops will have a busy time with me once they discover this knife in the city. The knife indeed looks scary sharp and sexy although the famous mumbai police wont think so. Thus i am now thinking of buying another knife for edc with blade of not more than 3inches and which wont look more intimidating like this one. The Benchmade and Spydercos have good options under 100$. I request you brothers to please suggest me a good knife within that range.
I havent used my ZT yet on anything beside cutting an A4 size paper and a cloth for testing the sharpness. and mind me, its fantabulously sharp.. Please advise what purpose i can use this knife. I feel like just adoring the beauty day and night and never to use it. If i get another knife for edc i will shift this to ocassional appearance knife.. and make it more of a collection. Also looking out for a Sharpening tool for this beauty babe of mine which will maintain its *figure* Will probably go for a Spyderco sharpener in near future when i order another knife.
Thanks once again brothers of IFG for advising me on a good knife. I am a happy Ifgian now..
