i trace the folder's outline on paper. just found out that i don't have a 2" belt. so dimensions are redone to fit a 1-3/4" belt.

clearance of 1/4" is given on all sides. the backing will also form the cover.

the paper cutting has been traced onto leather and cut. a 2-1/4" * 2-1/4" peice of leather is also cut. this will form the belt loop

@ kanwar...dye from USA. leather from local leather supplies shop.
4 holes at a distance of 1-3/4" from one another have been punched

slats are cut out of the leather for the belt to pass through.

welts have been glued on.

3 layers of welts have been glued on. the basic idea was to have the pouch look like a cellphone case, thereby preventing unwanted attention to the knife. as such, the shape of the folder will not be wet formed onto the leather.

by the way, i tried out the knife holster that i had made earlier. it was quite unobtrusive, as the pictures show.
