International Knife Buying Advice

Hello,

I am looking to buy knives from abroad.Can forum members enlighten me on sites who ship internationally with minimum hassle?

Also will customs charge for knives?

Firstly, welcome to the forums. Also, there is an excellent search facility on the top right of your page, which you can use - this topic has been extensively discussed here. However, since you are new, I give you the benefit of doubt, and shall try to answer your questions:
(a) http://www.knifecenter.com/ is the most reliable, and ships via FedEx at low cost (FedEx shipping through KC is a mere ~$30, as compared to individual which costs ~$100). The prices on KC are slightly higher, but the hassle is minimum, and typical delivery times are about a week to 10 days.
(b) Depends on whether customs charges duties or not - I have had a knife costing $150 come in without duty, while another worth $70 was charged duty. However, you should assume duty shall be levied @41% (approx).
