Knifecenter has it for 63, add FedEx shipping for 30. Delivery in about a week. Customs clearance done by FedEx. Should work economical, than other options.

Try some of the gun shops. M Saleh had some Cold Steel pieces when I went to buy my Nieto, but they were not available in the black finish I wanted. Their number should be available in the yellow pages section on this site. You can compare the prices with what Mr. Choombak has given (remembering that USD is on the rise against INR
). However, availability in these shops would be very erratic - today you might get, tomorrow you might not.
Cheers!

You can also consider ordering direct from Chinese manufacturers, for e.g. see
http://motorfairing.en.alibaba.com/prod ... knife.html
A few require a quantity order, but many are willing to ship 1 piece at a time; should work out to be the cheapest option of all...
HTH

the cold steel knife from china tend to be of poor quilt y and they are called cold steel, [brand name] however stainless steel made knives they are.
cold steel knives are not a brand name but the way the metal is folded and beaten an the quality of steel used. that what makes them cold steel.
remember you will get what you pay for.

I am not sure what you are refferring but just to mention Cold steel is a brand. I thought its famous enough for people to know about it. BTW the gentleman who started the thread is asking for a cold steel recon1 knife which is a cold steel brand knife..
@Abhijeet Bro the link you refferred is also just a chep copy of a cold steel knife. It does not even look like any of the originals
. Anyway, I am not sure if you people really dont know about this brand or I missed something.

Hey people.....The only "official" Cold Steel retailer is in Delhi but charges way too much. I picked up a Kobun for 4k which is well above the company's MRP (even after conversion)!! The outlet is called "Antariksh" (since they are into telescopes and other optics as well), if anybody is still interested in getting ripped off!;)

Dr.Saab, The Recon 1 was available a while back with M.Saleh for INR 7.5K. All he says now is his consignment is stcuk with customs, I'm sure he will increase it from the 7.5 being sold 8-9 months back. M.Saleh is the only plave in mumbai where cold steel knives are available.
