Good knives around Delhi?

Namaste all,

I am a knife dealer from Hong Kong and will be visiting India in December. I'm Indian (but not an Indian citizen) and am looking to pick up some beautiful, good quality Indian knives. I am willing to travel up to five hours in any direction during my time there. Would I legally be allowed to take knives in and out of India? I definitely want to pick up some Rampuri knives (non-autos, if possible). Also if I cannot take them out of the country in my baggage, can I ship them home?
