Protecting Ka-bar Knives against rusting
I recently got 2 Ka-bar knives from ebay. These knives are made up of Carbon Steel so it will easily rust. In order to prevent rusting, oiling it is must. But I found Tuff-Cloth the best thing because it is clean and not greasy like oil. Where can i easily find Tuff-Cloth in india? what kind of shops?

Don't think it is available in India. The only place it was available at times was the "sell"section at IFG
Get this from Ebay too or apply a light coat of oil, wipe the excess off and store in plastic bags when not in use or during the high humidity season.

ballistol universal oil works the best or even the protective film spray if the storage period is high .Had some bad experience with WD 40

maverick786us,
Surprised to hear that Ka-Bar knives rust easily. Have had a couple from the past 11 years and nothing has happened to them. Maintenance was very minimal. A good wipe every week with a clean and dry cloth was all I did. Totally agree with Rahul about the Ballistol oil.
