Eljefe's stupid question before the year ends-
How is the Bhutanese dart used to hunt? hand thrown?
Yeah, I had my share of hand made darts -needle, matchsticks, rubberbands and old ciggie packets for vanes

No, they are rocket powered with an onboard computer giving them true fire and forget capability.Other versions include TOW(Tube launched , Optically sighted, wire guided darts) and also some Laser guided PGD's(Precision Guided Darts).I hope this answers your questions.Did Santa give you one  Be a good boy and you will certainly get one next time.

Merry Christmas everybody.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas (a little late for that though) and a new propserous year that brings in more guns, more knives, more darts, more hunts, more discussions, and more ideas to blast the antis

Cheers

Anupam I spent three weeks in Mhow in 2000. The place is known for its cobblers and tailors. They are just too good. I didnt hear anything about the local knife industry. Could you give ore details on the knife and its maker/seller

Thanks

TC

PS : The designer knife, if I may call it so, can really scare the hell out an intended victim. A very diversified collection I must say. Great !!!!

My cousin in the Army posted at College of Combat, MHOW, got it made.... they make it in 'dhalai' meaning the entire stuff is one piece and moulded into a block knife... will surely ask him if he has the exact address or something...

These came highly recommended from Mack The Knife and way I look at it. It goes some way in preserving artisan class of "Khamis" who make traditional artifacts.

Whatever one has are great just need to take good care of them.

Anupam, I was there in the college of combat for a course...
Could you please ask your cousin where Col Sakhuja and Col Murthy might be posted right now. There were part of the faculty till 2002/3.
Dont take the trouble if its too much of a hassle.

Thanks

TC
