Knife experts, wana know for micarta which epoxy should be used? I am planing to change the handle of my mtech knife, planed the texture, but confused about the risen... Which one i should use??

Araldite without doubt. Buy big tubes or those plastic jars (about INR 450 for the resin + hardener).

Please note, the final thickness of the micarta will be about 20%-25% of the original fabric, i.e. with fabric layers 1 inch thick, you'll end up with micarta 1/4 inch or less. I used corduroy for my first attempt, it came out 1/10 of original thickness.

Another thing, if you cut with a power tool (angle grinder, Dremel, etc.) I find that the resin burns and creates a horrible smoke and smell. This smoke seems to be harmful.

Araldite is a little tough to spread out evenly. Is there some other sort of epoxy that is more liquidy to use. Even though it may take much longer to dry.
