Got this today and my first impressions are:
1) Not sure if I am going to get along with a cross-draw sheath with a snap.
2) I would have prefered a slightly thicker handle and slightly more pronounced palm swell.....for my hands.
3) It is no way as nimble as the BRK Golok but may prove to be a good compromise between the Golok and Khukuri.

Sweet looking Zombie Whacker Mack, since this is a user blade ( not sure if you've had the oppurtunity to use it) do you find any noticeble difference in this steel and the more exotic steel of the Golok as far as use is concerned ( steel only, not the blade geometry or size).

Thanks
Moin.

Moin, I got it yesterday. I may get a chance to try it on the 15th or 16th. It's the same steel that is used for my Khukuri, viz. 5160, so it should sharpen up quickly and take a very keen edge. Edge retention should be average. Will let you know.

Got this image, on very similar lines but with a full convex grind, don't know if it's a production blade.

Brihaji, could you guide where you got this image from
