Everyone, specially without a local FPO in their city, who is trying to import anything expensive (with a value of more than what the shipping costs) stick to Fed Ex, DHL, UPS etc.
Express Mail Service (EMS) is an international express postal service offered by postal-administration members of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) which created the EMS Cooperative.EMS is an integral part of their normal postal services.
Therefore you may track USPS Express mail on the India post EMS tracking page as India is a member.
My advice would be to avoid any sort of shipping which does not offer complete tracking information till delivery. This applies mainly to import of expensive stuff.
