Hello,
Astro... is Sudden illustrated as well?
Can you let me know which books of his are illustrated.. hook or crook i'm going to find some !!

Gentlemen.. any of you have any idea where in South Delhi I can get some of my collection buffed?
I've a collection of half a dozen or more kukris, rampuris, hunting knives.. all local though, but suffering from years of neglect... would luv to get them all buffed up...

Hi Chandan22,

I haven't come across an 'illustrated' Sudden novel so far...but what a brillaint concept - this would have made a great Marvel comic! Another Superhero! :D

Gentlemen,

Finally got a pic uploaded of my Gupti..
not the greatest pic, but the best I could do with a phone.

As talked about, it also has 3 sections, one rectangular, one triangular and the last is a double edged blade.

Chandan22 Very nice image of your gupti - I would love for you to make one for me that fits into an umbrella!

Beautiful 'three level' work - love it!

CKK... I didn't make it dude !! and an umbrella one sounds nice. have heard of them, never seen one in real life.

akiyatan... this one is about 40+ years old at least. my grandpop bought it in his youth.. given that he's pushing 80.. 40+ is a safe guess. I've kept it clean.. had the sheath sandpapered and painted/polished twice in the last 10 years.. so it looks new..

btw, i also have another gupti which i bought on roadside in rajasthan. its more like a small bamboo cane with a stabbing blade inside.. no edge to the blade tho and far coarser workmanship than this one...
