TC Da, wonderful....You're the man  So this is what you look like :D So much better than that bang bang revolver in your DP.

You bear a starking resemblance to actor Naveen Nischol (in his younger days ofcourse:mrgreen:) Boy you look like you are in your early 30's TCda, and you keep saying you're an old man

Finish your renovation and let's see them lovely blades you've collected...

and yes thanks for posting

Thank you, Mr. Marthandan. Your's isn't shabby either.
Was that a chartered boat and if so where does one get one for a spot of salt water fishing in Chennai?

Moin: I rarely fish with bait so patience isn't required but perseverance is....at times.

Abhijeet: That's Moin holding a pistol to TC's head. BTW, your pic doesn't show.

\

it was chartered. there are quite a few places in and around chennai. i caught the king mackerel about 300mts off the shore within the chennai port area. the same area also boasts of a wreck and a reef. one more place for off shore as angling would be the fishing village of kovalam and its thereabouts(about 30 kms from chennai on the east coast road).
the piers in the northern chennai coast line are good for GT, barracuda.

That's a 'Singhara' catfish (this is the photo my friend had clicked). Unfortunately no photos were taken of the Mullee/ Latchee that were landed that day.

LOL @ Man Purse! It's just a small pack loaded mostly with first-aid supplies, a knife, flashlight, spare batteries, insect repellent etc. I like to keep it handy whenever I'm on the water.

Cheers!
