Both are more convenient - and handy - than a multi-tool.
Grumpy,

It's a question of horses for courses. For everyday carry I use the SwissChamp. However, if I am taking the guns to the range or a friend's farm, I take the SwissTool Plus along. The wrench and bit holder is invaluable in my opinion as it allows me to carry the appropriate bits on my belt rather than the entire box in my haversack.

Before I bought the Swiss Tool Plus, I used to carry the Workchamp but apart from the locking blade, it really has no other advantage over the other two models. The Swiss Tool Plus is heavier but it is more versatile than the Workchamp. What's more, all the tools lock on the Swiss Tool Plus.

Or you could get a Cyber Tool 41 and dispense with both the Swiss Champ and the Swiss Tool................................

The Wenger Champ doesn`t have a small blade by the way.........

I have only seen a Cyber Tool 34 so far. If the 41 version has a file and magnifying glass it may be worth checking, though I doubt that the installed wrench could put out as much torque as the one we get with the Swiss Tool Plus. Not that I need all that much torque either - 5.5 to 6 N-m should be sufficient for guns and probably a little more for the fastners on my Gypsy.

Ofcourse the lack of a proper plier could mean that it never finds a place on my belt.

P.S.: Does the bit holder on the 41 lock in place?

P.P.S.: Just checked out the 41. Very handy but I think I will stick with the STP for it's robustness, pliers and locking tools.
