Post by brihacharan » Fri Sep 11, 2015 3:02 pm

Hi,
I found this nugget of information & wish to share it with you all!
Many of us Knife Lovers know about "Bob Loveless Knives' & even some of us are lucky to own a Bob Loveless Knife, what you are going to read below may come as a pleasant surprise!
The MAN – The KNIFE
Robert Waldorf Loveless (January 2, 1929 – September 2, 2010) was an American knife maker who designed and popularized the HOLLOWGROUND DROP POINT BLADE and the use of full tapered tangs and screw-type handle scale fasteners within the ART OF KNIFEMAKING. He is cited by other knife makers and collectors as one of the most innovative custom knife makers in the world.

Loveless, much copied today, was truly an innovative knife maker in his time.
His designs seem to be very natural to use as well as being pleasing to the eye.
“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense” — Winston Churchill, Oct 29, 1941

Well said xl_target.....
There are umpteen knife designs in all shapes & sizes...ultimately what matters is the "Ergonomics" & "Aesthetics" and of course its affordability :D
