Hi Guys,
The diy knife bug bit me very recently after i was inspired by the works of the fellow members here.
Have a couple of designs in the pipe line. In the mean time, I thought I would share images of an attempt at a diy knife i did long back for a friend of mine. I am attaching the images here. The steel used was 316 grade SS since he just wanted a display knife that wouldnt rust. Blade thickness is about 4mm.

Once the basic design was made in CAD, it was tweaked to be comfortable to hand hold and have as many sharp edges as possible. As usual, getting someone to sharpen the edge was the hardest part in the project.brihacharan wrote:Awesome & Fearsome!!!
