Brihaji, those blades have real character, the patina of age. I too cut my teeth (pun intended) on knives made by blacksmiths out of car leaf springs in coonoor.
Now you have lit a fire under me, must get out my old collection, degrease them and send you some pics.
It is better to die on one's feet than live on one's knees.
