so you take the knife and go and kill animals with it. what i mean you use the knife to kill animals instated of shooting them.? that would mean that you would have to get right next to the animals? is it so/

Naga, just tie it to a long sturdy stick, (rubber bands won't quite do), and you got a "hunting" knife. If you use SuperGlue instead to attach it permanently, it would become a "spear", and would have to be entered as such on your license. Or you can make a hole in the ground to fit the handle, freeze it in place so the blade sticks up, smear the blade heavily with blood; or bacon grease, if that's handier. Pretty soon a fox, wolf, or other predator will come along, lick the blade, and cut his tongue. He won't be able to feel it because of the cold. Then you just follow the drops of blood 'til you find him, bled out and dead. Cheers.

Yup. Just a good sturdy belt knife. For skinning and dissecting, whittling sticks, trimming your toe nails (if you've been out in the woods too long), eating (if you forgot your fork, and can't do improvised chop sticks, or don't want to use your fingers, having forgotten soap as well), doing camp chores, etc. Three-and-a-half to five inch blade, and you may call it a "hunting" knife.

now thats more like it, any reasonable length of blade which can be used for multi purpose, not some sexy name to fool the wanna bes.

as we say "with a jack knife we can do all things" even chop a tree down( after many years, and bleeding hands) :D

killing of animals is cruel act, does no matter if it is done during hunt in forest or during different circumstances supported by public
